| ABSTRACT |
|
Hepatic encephalopathy is a complex neuropsychiatric syndrome with protein clinical manifestations. Hepatic encephalopathy is a neurologic disturbance with complicates that causes liver cirrhosis. There was a hepatic encephalopathy patient who was admitted to Wonkwang university Iksan hospital from April 11. 2001 to April 16. 2001. The patient s mental health and plasma ammonia level was impoved by the Saengkankunbi-tang. Saengkankunbi-tang is applicable to the extensive treatment of liver disease including hepatitis, liver cirrhosis and hepatic encephalopathy. we report this case with a brief review. |
