Methods :
To examine the anti-cancer effect of HJ(Hangamjedoktang) and HJJ (Hangamjedoktang with Aluns japonica Stend.), the proliferation effect on S-180, activity of machrophage and splenocyte, the rate of production of IL-2 in the spleen were examined

Result:
results are such as the following. 1. HJ and HJJ let inhibit viability of tumor cell in vitro. 2. HJ and HJJ increased the ACP(Acid phosphatase) activity of the macrophage of the mouse with S-180 transplanted. 3. HJ and HJJ increased the IL- 2 produced from the T-lymphocyte of the spleen cell of the mouse with S-180 transplanted.

Conclusions:
HJ and HJJ is effective against cancer in ways such as activation of macrophage, T-lymphocyte.
