| ABSTRACT |
|
In a pontine infarction, variable neurologic deficits present because the pons is very complicated organ including cranial nerve nuclei and several fiber tracts. Corresponding to territories of intrinsic pontine vessels, isolated pontine infarcts could be classified. If the anterior inferior cerebellar artery is occluded, the Lateral inferior pontine syndrome is presented. 29 years old male who has facial palsy, eyeball movement disturbances, ptosis and diagnosed as the pontine infarction is admitted in Wonkwang university Jeonju oriental medicine hospital. We classified this symptoms as Taeumin-liyoiljung and used Yuldahansotang(熱多寒少湯), Jungmyung(睛明, BL1) and Jium(至陰, BL67) acupuncture point. In the result, we had the improvement of the symptoms. So we described the process and contents about the way the patient was cured. |
